A photo station to take photos of a sample from any angle in a standardized and controlled way. Includes the option of photo stacking and uses a DSLR camera with large a choice macro lenses.
Rotation of camera and sample are motorized and controlled by a custom GUI with graphical machine representation.
Built in 2024 for the University of Cologne, Germany. Initial design, motor control and GUI code by me, subsequent construction of parts by the Biocenter Workshop, final wiring and testing by me.
